Hey, howdy, hello,

I’m Jon — a driven copywriter, creative leader, sci-fi author, video producer, poster designer, toy dinosaur photographer, father, husband, and master of goofy voices.

I recently published my first book, a science fiction novella titled Dinoczars. It took years to get off the ground, but I’m beyond proud to share it far and wide.

After film school, I got into advertising, harnessing my storytelling nature to write in a variety of digital, print, TV, radio, and outdoor formats. My work has focused on public health initiatives like Rethink Recovery, CalFresh, SwapUp, and A Dose Of Truth. I’ve also enjoyed working on popular brands like AT&T, AAA, Holland America Line, Concur, Amazon, and many others.

I’ve worked throughout the Seattle marketing industry, from traditional agencies to in-house creative teams. Along the way, I’ve been recognized for my tenacious work ethic, easy-going leadership style, endless adaptability, and sense of humor. I’ve also learned that above all else, I thrive in positive culture environments. It’s a legit deal breaker.

Next up, I’d like to harness my leadership nature and creative experiences as a Creative Director, quickly elevating my creative team and the work we produce.
